I’ve finally finished my bedside table.  I took a while to decide which handle as I wanted it to be just perfect.  It looked a bit worn when I first found it but I think I’ve given it a new personality.

I love these little tealight holders, I’ve even kept a couple back for myself!  I’ve decoupaged these using a number of different effects.  Keep an eye out for my how to decoupage blog.  

Bathroom Cabinet available on Etsy at Homespun Dreamer

I really enjoyed working on this bathroom cabinet.  It was pretty old fashioned and boring when I started.  I think I’ve really transformed it into something special.  It truly is unique.

Projects that I’m working on: 

I’ve started to sand these tables down.  I’m thinking of leaving some of the parquet showing on the square table.  There is some wear, so I thought perhaps a geometric paint effect, with some of the parquet peeping through.  Still haven’t decided, so I’m open to suggestions.

I’m going to paint the round one blue and work some gold leaf into the legs and along the table top.  This one is going to look quite dramatic, breathe a bit of life back into it and really highlight the beautiful shape of the legs.

I love photography it’s a real passion of mine.  I drive my family mad sometimes because I’m always suddenly stopping to take a picture.  I’ve even pulled my car over when I’ve seen and interesting image (see the mushrooms, taken at the side of the road).

I really love trees, I photograph them but I can’t always capture their beauty.
